INTERVIEW: Ari Gudmunsson

So we are finally back after our work got in the way and a drought of people not wanting to talk about themselves (imagine) but finally we have found some more folks interested so watch this space, admittedly intermittently, over the next few weeks!

Who are you?

I’m Ari Gudmundsson, an Icelandic musician

What do you do?

I make music, work, play with my two daughters and after I make a glorious recovery from an ACL injury I’ll start playing football again.

What are you currently working on?

Currently I am trying to promote my new album Radiko, something I’m horrible at. I finished my creative juices, writing, arranging, playing and singing on that so I haven’t been doing anything really creative since.

What are you currently enjoying?

I just finished watching True Detective, going to start watching my man Alan Patridge next, also I am waiting on the final season of Game of Thrones to begin.

What is your advice for today?

My advise today is obviously listen to my new album and to use the turn signal when exiting a roundabout, espcially if I’m waiting to enter!

We strongly recommend having a listen to Ari’s work – you can find out more in the links below!
